If somebody calls you on your cell phone, and you don't answer, the call forwards to CallWave. CallWave records the message and delivers it to your gadget. It's that simple!

CallWave Virtual Voicemail works with most US carriers and handsets, including Verizon Wireless™, AT&T Cingular™, T-Mobile™ and over 30 others.

CallWave offers this service for free. Most mobile phone plans won't charge you anything to use CallWave. However, if you're concerned you might want to double-check the following:
- Do you have free long-distance included with your plan (you probably do)?
- Does your carrier charge anything for call-forwarding (most only use airtime minutes)?

There are several ways to check your messages:
- by phone (simply call your own mobile number)
- in the gadget
- on your message portal (a private webpage with all your calls and contacts)
