There's no charge for sending text messages to your friends in the USA and Canada. Regular inbound text messaging rates apply for recipients in the USA and Canada.
Can I send text messages to recipients anywhere?
You can send text messages to just about any mobile phone number in the USA and Canada.
Why do I need a mobile phone to register?
Text messages sent from the CallWave SMS service use your mobile number as the senderID. Rest assured that there are no hidden charges to your mobile phone bill, or to the SMS recipient's phone bill. Regular inbound text messaging rates apply for recipients in the USA and Canada.
Why do I need to enter a verification code?
During registration a verification code is sent to your mobile phone. This prevents someone else from registering with your mobile number (spoofing). It also helps prevent fraud and SPAM.
How does CallWave protect my privacy?

CallWave does not currently support your mobile phone carrier for the Text Messaging widget. We are adding new carriers all the time, so please check back with us again soon.

The CallWave Text Messaging widget currently only works for mobile phones in the US and Canada.
What if I don't want to receive text messages?
Please note that once you enter your number on the Do Not Text form, there is currently no way to remove yourself from this list. It's set up this way to protect those customers who do not want to receive any text messages.
